I'm lazy, do what I do. Just highlight the 5-digit numbers at the top, right click, copy and paste on thread :)
Those look like some mighty sharp claws.

looks like a painted turtle.
might be a type of box turtle.
all turltes carry salmonella ( spelling ) so wash your hands if you handle one - or suffer the bathroom agony...

[thumb]73374.jpg[/thumb] this is a standard size bluebird box - opening is about 4" wide so what is the critter? It is too big for a mouse, I thought possibly a flying quirrel because of the large eye.
still can't get the thumbnail right...

That would be a Midland Painted Turtle The other little critter could be a shrew

It is pretty big - bigger than a deer mouse or house mouse and the eye is quite huge, also the ear is round

Red ear slider!! You can tell when they have a red line on their face and can you believe one theat big comes from one this small!
