This is mine. All done out and ready to be mailed. I've also framed an 8x10 of this picture for my sister as part of her Christmas gift. No, it's not my house. :)

Good one, KarenNfld. Nice to be able to fulfill our holiday gift giving lists
with our own work. I remember that image from one of our recent Challenges,
and gave it a high mark then. |

Oh, man! That really strikes close to (my original) home, Bassbone!
Mystic, Connecticut. Could there by a more perfect name.
Oh, yes. Not a bad subject for a holiday card, either.

glad to see your models/kids were aiming at the snowman and not at the photographer. |

For me it's like an entry for a challenge. It's always last minute work :) So you have to wait a few more weeks. |

I missed the related challenge as my little one was ill during the period prior to the deadline - and she still wasn't 100% yesterday but in order to get my cards printed I had to do the shoot and make the cards yesterday.
Anyway here is the result. It could have been more polished if I had more time but still I quite like the result.

The kids so enjoy sitting for the Christmas card picture (NOT!) However, we tried to make it fun this year.

Great card Mark! I must say making the annual Christmas card is one of the most stressful experiences of the year - last year I did a shoot in a wood in below zero temperatures...
so this year thought it would be easier to do something indoors thinking it would be easier - unfortunately not a lot!!

That is an excellent shot -- especially in the cold. Yes, it is stressful. If you think DPC voters can be a bit harsh and overly critical -- you should see my wife when she is critiquing my Christmas card shots. |
