Went after Long Ear Owl pictures and came back with deer pictures again, for the third time. A friend drew me a map to a tree where he keeps seeing the owls, but everytime I go, I see deer. They aren't going to fit the Abstract or Rusty challenges so I thought I'd share.

| WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cares about owls? You got some good captures of the deer but the color is bland, lacking something, like did you desat one of the channels or something like that? |

Not that I know of. The predominant colors were green and brown. The trees were just starting to leaf out, otherwise it would have just been tan on brown. I did increase the the Contrast and Saturation in PS. Maybe my camera needs a tune-up. |

I love owls. Go find them again... good luck! I can't wait to see them! The deer photos are cool too, but owls are just amazing!

I'll keep trying, but I think it will end up being an early morning photo op, because they aren't there in the early evening. Here are a couple pics of a Great Horned Owl in Tucson over the holidays. The Screech Owl photos were awesome. Thanks for sharing.

Impressive! I love owls. I wish I could see some in the wild. There aren't many in Downtown LA. :) Heehee. Perhaps when I visit the national parks in the future...

| Drowsy, but adorable! They are like persian cats with wings! Two of my favorite things :) |
