A case of post what I love and don't listen to the popular vote or go for something kind of okay that I know will score better . I can go either way these days, and I don't mean that as I can shoot ribbons when I want to.

Your analysis was right on, I think. You'd have gotten creamed with the street shot but it's way more interesting.

Now I had two that were roughly equal imo. I liked them both fine for the challenge (funny as I now suspect some voters did not consider the subject triangular enough). Had regrets on the focus in the one I went with , but could NOT rotate the other enough to make it "right", either The score and % make me hope I picked the wrong one LOL

I believe DPC likes color - not sure what you mean by the rotation, because it looks fine to me - and think it would have scored higher overall because the triangle is more easily viewed. For me, I enjoyed the b/w enough to give it a 7.
