I get up, I get down, I get up I get down, this is getting very boring!

It either meets the challenge or not!!

Why do you care about the score? The score is about what is popular and not what is good in our own opinions, neither about what we like about our own photos. So relaxxx about your entry and enjoy taking photos. Why spoil the fun?

and people say DPC is dying.

anyway...
gonna keep the score under wraps... I've noticed if I do that, I tend to score higher tthan usual. I'm sure its a coincidence, bit nonetheless...

however, I can't believe I had two great comments already, and a favorite on THE FIRST DAY of voting! another record for me. yay!!!

there are some really great entries in the challenge!!!

i think there is a lot of genuine confusion among the entries on what constitutes high contrast looking at all the entries myself...i can see that is a real high contrast in that confusion too...lolal oh well...

personally its a balance and there seems to be an imbalance and i think this challenge higlights the difference, there are a lot of non-high contrast pretty images... need i say more? ;) now they might seem popular..like dare i say too many of the same type of photos coming up regularly ;) maybe thats what take the fun out of it.. seeing the same things get the same scores... but maybe thats perception? or maybe its just true? i'll leave that to your imagination, i'll let my membership continue until it runs out and see if i feel the same this time next year :o)

i feel your pain and as i have no wish to add to it i wont ask which are yours.... ;O)

but looking at the entries again... theres a need to shake things up among peoples own views of what is high contrast and what it is they are using for their own rule of thumb as to how and what to vote on things.. come on people be bolder and braver with voting for the winners and not the same old same old ;O)
