I use Lightroom, I always have problems with my settings to enter a challenge. I want to get the highest resolution for my entries but I have no idea of what that setting is. Does anyone know how to use Lightroom, Image sizing and file settings?

Export on botton left hand side.
Then fill in the box that opens ,800 pixels max and 300kb max.
Think that is it really.

Thank you. I accidentally hit the limit file size box which prevented me from adjusting the correct size.

yeah saving for dpc is extremely easy with light room, also make sure you have sharpening set to "screen". set long edge to 800px and 300kb max. then just save the preset.

one thing i have noticed is since moving to the 5d2, im not really happy with my dpc exports. the fullsize image looks beautiful in LR, but when I export to 800px its just looks poor. i don't know if its the 300kb max file size or what...

Sometimes you need to experiment with the file size in LR and try a little more than 300kb because it might bring you down too low. Say if your getting a file size of 250kb, you can try to bump the file size limits up to 350 or 400 kb to get closer to 300.
