Welcome picklestoo.
DPC is a great place to learn, and snaffles is a good instructor to have.

Welcome aboard Pickles. Has she taught you how to properly compose your photos by lying on your back and framing the shot between your raised legs?

Not enough contrast. I don't find the even grey background all that interesting. Oh, wait, that's your profile picture! (Something else for you to do in your spare time).
Welcome, picklestoo - hope you enjoy your time at dpc. |

LOL, though I've demonstrated the pose in question so she knows what people mean by shooting snaffles style, I have yet to encourage her to use it :-)
Denise has already picked up a huge amount in the two tutoring sessions we've had, and is busy taking lots of pics - I know for a fact that she's planning on getting out there early in the morning to work on her sunrises! Watch out DPC! |

Hello everyone. I've been here since October. I have just submitted my first picture for a challenge but I have a concern and I would like to know if anyone has the same problem. It seems as though everytime I upload a picture for submission and I look at it in the preview portion of the page, it doesn't fully unload. It gives me just 1/10th of a page (the top portion). In my porfolio though, the picture is complete. I'm glad I didn't spend too much time on the shot, fairly easy actually, but I just want to know if anyone has had any problem like this and how can it be fixed if it can.
Thanks,
Adrian |

try uploading it to your workshop first and then submit it from there. |

Hey Adriano. Welcome! You should start your own newbie thread so YOU get the welcome parade. Also, post your question in the tips and tricks forum, as more people will see it and be able to help you. |
