GREETINGS FROM "happy world of criticism club by mehmet"

you can hardly go wrong with a beautifull subject like this, but my eyes crave for more contrast, i think this image is fine the way it is but i always tend to aim for more contrasted images myself, and also my mind ponders how it would have been if her lips were closed.

i really like the shadow sunglasses cast in this one, but the blur in her hand and her feet distracts the overall image i think..

this is my personal favorite of the bunch.. i like the tilt and the B&W.

i dont like this image as the overexposed areas in her hair and jeans bother me, also the sunglasses gets in the way in this case i think.. especially the borders of the glasses cut right in to her eyes..tone is not very pleasant either..

overall i like the pose and the outfit and her expression. problem areas acording to my opinion are: face, too dark on one side; grass, gets in the way at the bottom of the dress. but did i mention i like the expression and her pose.

such beautifull eyes, and the way she looks at the camera creates an intimate mood. i like that. model looks a bit washed out and hard to distinguish her from the background. again may be more contrast might help..

this is my second favorite, i think it is an excellent shot. very well executed. i really looked but couldnt find anything to bug you about with this one.. great shot..

Sorry Kevin, I'm a bit busy too provide critiques for them all at the mo, but I can pretty much cover them with one statement: all excellently done and very professional looking. I particularly like the second and last images.

There is an incredible underlying sadness in these pictures, whether it's the model, or the photogropher or both, I can't put my finger on it. I like them all, especially the one where she is backlit and you can see the small blonde hairs on her skin. There's something very intimate about it. Very well done.

Thanks for the comments.

Make Canon
Model EOS 10D
Lens Canon EF 70-200 f/2.8 L IS USM
Flash Used Yes
Focal Length 110 mm
Exposure Time 1/50 sec
Aperture f/2.8
ISO Equivalent 100
White Balance AWB

I had the 550EX (flash) mounted on a flash bracket and pointed directly at the subject. I had dialed the flash exposure compensation (FEC) down to -1 and the flash was set for high-speed sync.
