This topic, like doors, is always nice because of the literal and figurative aspects. |

There's a new version of Angry Birds coming out, let's have a bird challenge..
I like the challenge topic, but is a software upgrade really a reason to celebrate?

I'd have some great ideas for this. ...if not for those stupid restraining orders and parole conditions. ;-) |

a photo of the window is fine, no need to bother with the folks on the otherside. |

I keep telling you Ken, you need to get some longer lenses for that school of photography. It will pay for itself in the savings of court fees alone. |

I've always loved window shots, I think there is some amazing potential in this challenge with expert, just not sure if I can pull it off though! |

Especially when suggested it to be advanced. It's better than basic or minimal though. |

You don't HAVE to do expert editing. If I have an entry it will probably be done under advanced editing.

+1 -- I will not likely dive into the expert rules set to create an elaborate composite image. However, I may well consider dipping into the rule set by being more liberal with the cloning tool, erasing a distraction, or moving and object in an attempt to improve the composition. |

My photoshop skills are very low to put it modestly.. Yet i had a different idea for this one and have entered an advanced editing entry for this challenge.;-)
This would have been cool too..

I know just because it says expert doesn't mean you have to do expert editing... it just surprised me to see it expert.
if I enter the challenge, then its likely I will use advanced editing...
but I'm sure there will be some interesting shots in the challenge.

I'm in with advanced. In fact, I'm just a whisker from being basic-legal. The only attention to rules I pay nowadays is to find out what I can't do; I let the image tell me how much it WANTS done to it. |
