Maybe everybody else is at Bear's birthday bash, and too snockered or pigged out to be paying any attention so it's been a slow day here.

An old and scaley critter, maybe a fish?
My first thought was a Roman road surface, or stone rip-wrap (for wave erosion control) but then I noticed the details and see the repeating pattern.
If this is right, someone else post a new one. I'm off to bed.

I hate those damn things...

They're moving North and are wreaking havok on my uncle's farm in Missouri...

For some reason that reminded me to ask, how is your burn?
Mine is almost healed. The only part that's still healing is the part that was 3rd degree.

I'm almost as ugly as I was before! :)

ETA: The burns on my chest are actually in much worse shape, because I wasn't giving them love 40 times a day like the facial burns. Basically now the facial stuff is limited to some pinkish discoloration. I'm just waiting to see if I'll need to hit it with hydrocortisone to keep the color from going too dark.

I'm hoping I get a ribbon for my pain. ;)
