| Looks like they are a bit deceiving--it appears to me that you don't get the umbrellas and stand they show, only the lights and the metal reflectors on them. At first, I presumed the kit was what was shown. |

Not exactly like this, but a do-it-yourself version.
I use 500W halogen floodlights from the DIY store and an umbrella spraid with silver paint as reflector. The halogen floodlights have approx. the same color temperature as the one in your advert. But proper white balance setting this is no issue.
I don't have a translucent umbrella.
The kit seems quite nice, although of course more expensive than my version.

| I have one of these lights, and it came with a stand and the umbrella. I got it on ebay for $79.00. The light does not get as hot as one of those metal reflector lights, because I have several different Smith-Victor metal reflector lights too that I picked up cheap on ebay. I haven't had it for very long, and I've used it with and without the umbrella. I have been pleased with it, and plan to do more experimenting with it. |

I can't give you a specific link because I bought it off ebay from a private seller. I can tell you that I watched ebay for many weeks, and found many lighting bargins, but the bidding is very competitive. I under bid on several lights that I really wanted and they were fantastic deals. You can look on ebay under the category: Lighting & Studio Equipment-->subcategory--> Continuous Lighting. I wish you luck, but there are many bargins in this category if you do your research and keep bidding!
