I dunno. It's pretty common: Wife yammers on about her "feelings" and such. bla bla bla. Husband is watching a movie and throwing out an occasional "uh huh" and "I see" and she doesn't even notice him laughing at inappropriate points she is making. Ultimately she had no idea he was watching a movie (let alone which movie) and he has no idea what she was blathering about. :P

Not really one to watch movies, but The Princess Bride was forced upon me.
For comedies, I really like Arrested Development, Archer, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, South Park, Futurama. |
I agree with those choices and find those shows funny, you are more for the irreverent sort of humor, which I can understand. |

They're filming season 4 of Arrested Development right now. I can't wait for it to return. |
