Looks like it could be made of stone. Guessing it's tiny since you used the MP-E6 |

Stone (if I'm right) plates are often used in conjunction with fireplaces for obvious reasons. Is it a chimney access plate or fireplace door? |

Crap I figured it out. You wanted to know it's size. Elephants are usually large and grey/gray. I win!! :-) |

Ha, nope!
Pay strict attention to my clues, and the answer is within easy Googling. Know my vices, and you have another clue. |

Ah, but my vices are posted here at DPC for all to see!
The item is not metal, nor is it stone, nor in fact is it even very hard at all. |

Nope. Not a sand mold, nor the product of one.
The item this is a part of was molded to be sure. I'm also sure the mold would have been metal.
Another hint: The item is rather flexible, though it does not flex much during use. It leads a tough life, and if the elephant were alive, (s)he'd be pretty dizzy a lot of her/his life. |

It's the upper side of a part of a home appliance or tool, indicating the high-speed option of whatever has variable speeds (like a sander, for example). |
