So, I just decided to try this thing out.



Figure I can use it for lighting for sure (screw the boom for now), and also think I might find it to be a really good tripod for light packing.

Anyone here ever use this product? I'd like to hear your thoughts.

the super clamps are great ive got 3, fancy a magic arm as well. there is a mark wallace video where he uses a magic arm on a step ladder to hold a 1ds and 24-70 at full extension if i recall

What all have you used yours for at this point?

attached my manfroto ball head to it and

clamped my 20d to be roof rails on my truck drove for 50 mins no problem,

clamped my 20d to the roof of our club for another time-lapse shot upside down,

each time i screwed and plugged a 6" piece of roofing battern 2.5"x1X to the brick work and clamped to that

use it all the time with a hot shoe flash bracket to hold hair lights etc

us two of them to hold back drop

i want another one then i can double them up to hold the pole of my backdrop support to hold 3.5 metre paper rolls or i could get these



used two of them back to back to clamp a manfroto mono pod to my big manfroto tripod to get a camera up 4m hehe

by back to back i mean like this



i got an extra pack of these for clamping to flat surfaces like tables etc to get better grip and avoid damage
