The background is part of the object. Most of us has seen similar objects in real life.

a sparkler reflected and refracted in a glass bottle or glass something...
10/12/2012 08:31:07 AM · #4313
Nope. Everything is the same object. Although what you see are two parts of the same "unit" - the background being one of them.

Close enough

This is the glass that covers the light bulb in a Hensel studio strobe. The tip of the actual flash bulb is barely visible. The background is an umbrella reflector mounted on the same strobe. The model light (the coil in the top of the pic) was turned on and was the only light source.

corroded part of the faucet stuck in a plant pot
(is that a plant pot, soil and some life growing or is it my imagination?)

Not a gas burner, nor part of a faucet. I should give some basic guidance:
- The black cylindrical OOF thing in the lower RH portion of the image is just a support
- The item is a damaged portion of the original item, not the whole item

It looks like someone attacked it with an arc welder, but I can't figure out what is in the middle of the pipe thing.

Wait that isn't a horribly damaged mig welding nozzle is it?
