Ok... so, I have never really been the type to walk up to someone and ask if I could take their photo. Most of the time, I would use my 70-300mm and shoot from a distance.
I was driving around and looked to my right... awesome shot, just sitting there, waiting for me to photograph it. Problem was, I needed the person that was there, to be in the shot, and that particular shot required a closer angle.

So, I drove by... turned around a little ways... drove by again... and again.
Finally, I parked the car, walked up to the person, and asked them.
What's the worst they could have said, "no"?

I got a strange look, but when explained that he fit the shot perfectly, he smiled and said sure.
Awesome!

I did it. Now that THAT obstacle is out of my way... people better watch out! lol
Kidding.
But in all seriousness, I have more confidence when shooting people now.

Oh, and on a side note, he was a very nice guy... don't see that very often nowadays.

Happy Shooting, people. :)

yeah when i first started doing photography on the side its a bit unnerving at first trying to get people to pose, but its amazing how quickly you move past that and start directing them.
