So... I think rather than splurging on a new lens, I'm going to invest in training classes to better my skills.
Get to completely know my camera, all the settings, lighting, composition, etc.
Then, when I feel I've completely learned everything, that's when I'll shell out the money for a new lens, and I'll pick up the Canon rather than a sigma or tamron.

So... I've looked at Kelby Training, it seems legit. Yes?
any other suggestions?

I know there's YouTube and such... but I want to make sure whatever I use, it's thoroughly helpful.

Kelby training is very very good. I was a member last year. Look for a $20 off coupon too -- google it... I'm off to work and can't do it right now :-)

I like Lynda for some technical stuff that i didnt know. Might be an interesting route?
