Sinus infection? Neti pot, claritin,(mucinex in case of congestion but sounds like that's not a problem in your case), IBU or ASA (in case of a hedache), prednisone if really bad.

Cold? Neti pot, IBU or ASA (in case of a hedache), prednisone if really bad

Allergies? Neti pot, claritin, prednisone, stay home for the rest of your life and make sure to get rid of the allergens at home as well

(Don't quote me on that, I'm a 4th year nursing student, I know nothing, lol)

Oh give me a break, lol. I am allowed to give nursing advice already. I'm last semester. Had a ton of rotations. Have seen patients die (not my patients of course). And took care of patients by myself (patients after CABG, leg amputations, patients in a coma - but if you think a cold/allergies/whatever is more serious good for you :)

I don't know I had 5 sinus surgeries for sinus polyps. Neti pot was supposed to help but I never felt like doing it. Maybe next time.
