One of the last warm weekend of the year so I decided to have a little fun with the kids. I do not have the talent or equipment to pull off anything close to the original artist, but we had fun and Laine was a super model for being nine. 1/8000th. Natural sun with a reflector. Wrinkly sheet as a background.

I had to try a self-portrait to my kids delight. It worked out pretty well!

Have you used a balloon filled with water Jason? And to choose the right moment for the shot?

Jeez, that looks good.

Did you have a light behind the background?

No, it's the sun reflecting on the sheet. I masked it off on the tone mapping to keep it nice and bright.

One thing still puzzles me here, how the heck did you get the balloon to pop?

Actually we got mine on the very first try. I should post the shot when the water is covering my face.

LOL - lucky man! :)

A friend of mine had a sort of noise sensor who made the camera fire when it heard the noise.
