Oh so close! ...not really. Pretty off-base actually. It has no moving parts and it is relatively ubiquitous.

I think you are correct, it appears to be 4 1/2 by 4 1/2 inch white tile.

Yes you are right....Damn thought I had something good....It was used to make shaved ice from a block of ice...You are up...Here is a pic of the whole thing
