It is something you would probably find in abundance at a place that does molding or casting, but isn't related to those processes. |

Template/resist plate? Possibly for acid resist or ink?
Not sure wth it would be used for though, the configuration isn't particularly familiar to me. |

It is a template of sorts, but not used with acid or ink. |
