Hmm.
I'm not in this one because I couldn't come up with a good concept, but I voted:

You have commented on 21 images (29%) in this challenge.
You have given an average score of 5.2466.
That's considerably below my long-term voting average, so I thought I'd share my general thinking.
I thought many entries fell into one of three groups:
1) good concepts not shot especially well. I don't require razor sharp and perfectly lit, but reasonable contrast, lighting, and composition matter.
2) quick snaps of genuinely strange things. Often hurt by composition problems, distractions that could've easily been cropped out, missed opportunities to edit to isolate the subject, etc.
3) great photos that really interest me (and that I would've scored highly in a free study) but are disconnected from the challenge because they're common scenes or objects. This includes shots where the title implies the location is strange but the crop's so tight you can't see that in the photo.
If anyone wants a comment where I didn't leave one, or wants more detail where I did, just PM me. I'm done voting, so no need to wait until voting ends.
