Just a few photos I took at the Morrisburg Migratory Bird Sanctuary today.
I'm getting tired of everything looking so dead, however, there's an up side to this. If the trees had anything growing on them I wouldn't have gotten some of these pictures. Comments welcome (if you are so moved).

The ducks are nice, I like the reflection in the water. I like the bright bluejay (second one), but I bet you wish that some of those branches weren't in the way! I also really like the second chick a dee photo, there are no branches in the way and the sky makes the bird pop out more. Nice job! I would take more bird photos if I had a telephoto lens, which I do not right now...

Thanks Danielle.
The bluejay kept hopping from branch to branch. I almost had a better shot but he moved just as I got focus. The geese were all over the place.
I was looking for a blue heron but only saw one as he flew over the highway, none at the sanctuary.

I just added the lens and settings details. The bluejay was taken with the 75-300 @ 300 at a distance of 8 - 10 feet.
