Can all options in Picasa 3 be used for advanced editing challenges??

I've used picasa in the past and yes they are all pretty much Ok to use for ADV editing.

they are probably all legal in basic too, well except local adjustments like red eye reduction and such.

No, you wouldn't be allowed to use a vignette, or Lomo-ish or Holga-ish (which both include a vignette). Also you might be in trouble with the stretch/distort clause if you used straighten.

Actually, no. Focal zoom wouldn't be legal. Neither would polaroid. That's off the top of my head. There are probably several more that add features.

oh, i thought Picasa was basic editing software, i didn't realize it could do advanced editing.

it's more advanced than you think, oh yes Kelli was right about the focal zoom as well, Picasa was the first editing programme I used years and years ago when I first started getting into photography, I love their cloning tool works better than the one on elements sometimes.
