Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 EX Aspherical DF for Canon

Ok I've read the forum code tutorial: Forum Code Tutorial, but in there it doesn't say how to set an email link, or I missing something. I know it is possible because there is an email link in Konador's Bio So I was wondering if anyone knew how to do this?

That's easy. Just go "My Preferences" where it says your e-mail type it in and then save changes at the bottom and presto your e-mail address is included in your bio. Now I don't know how to do it in the forums but at least that's a start.

It is a start, but not a finish.
Like to put it in a signiture, or more likely (what I want) in a dpcprints bio.

The forum code for email is just [ email ] and then [ /email ] with no spaces after the bracket.

I played around with ideas for a little while, never came up with that, but I did get to [email=blahblah]blahblah[/email] like a url.

While we're expanding our capabilities, what's the code to format strikeout and underlined type?

For underlined text you put [u ]text here[/u] without the unnecessary space that I put in to get it to display because [code][/code] is disabled here.

Looks like standard strike through text is disabled here as well as color, size, lists, and several other cool codes.

EDIT: Oops, spoke too soon. Most use [s] for striking text. But not here as someone else pointed out.

Some other markups: [ b ] text [ /b ] without the spaces for bold text
and [ i ] text [ /i ] without the spaces for italic text
and [ b ] [ i ] text [ /i ] [ /b ] without the spaces for bold italic text

A word of caution. Be careful about posting your email address on ANY public forum or web site. Spammers are knows to use "bots" that crawl web sites harvesing email addresses. If you post your email address as a link in the forums (here or anywhere else), it will only be a matter of time until a bot picks it up. Instead, you may wish to use the private message feature that is built into the site.
