I enjoy Zoombrowser for its simplicity. I have installed a new iteration of Windows 7 on a new HD that I am dedicating to photo stuff. I have Zoombrowser on the old installation but can't find my CD to install it on the new one. You can't simply download it from Canon and I contacted them and never heard back. Does anybody have an extra CD because they own two Canon cameras? Would you be willing to send me one of them? I think once it's installed upgrading to the latest version is much easier. |

I forgot to say there's a $5 Starbucks card in it for you to cover shipping and I'd even be happy to send the CD back after. |

I probably have a really old one, circa 2007. It would be easy to create an ISO image of it that you could then burn to a new CD... the image file would be a little big, though, so we'd have to figure out how to transfer it.

I may have a disk left over from my dear departed G11. Shoot me a PM to remind me to look for it when I get home this evening.

If Zoombrowser is on the 5D/5D2 disks, then I have an extra... Let me know. |

If you create an ISO and it's under 2gb I have a way we could send it and would be happy to help. |

I am pretty sure it's on every CD packed with a Canon camera. I had to install it in order to add my name/info to the EXIF ... |

Use the same thing you'd make a copy of the CD with, but save it as a "Disc Image" file rather than burning it to blank media. A useful procedure for several reasons ... hmmm ... the format should be an ISO spec rather than dedicated Mac or Windows format ... if the disc already works with both platforms then just use "Device Copy" or the equivalent to make a virtual copy of the CD.

Another way...just know what you are doing before tweaking the registry though...

It's been done. Or I think it has anyway; Jason's retrieved it from my dropbox but I have no confirmation that the install worked... |

Haven't had a chance to try. I had a party to go to last night as soon as I got home. I also got a .ZIP from kirbic so I have two options. I'll let you guys know if it works. |
