You got lucky starting a new page. Should keep us on track for a bit.
Wish I knew the scale of that image. I'm betting a mile or two between the heat shield and the sky crane. That crane really made quite a splash it seems.
I did find it funny thinking about the what ifs... as in, what if that was earth and curiosity was from some other alien civilization.
Go through all of this effort to land it, then it just sits still for about 8 sols. If it landed in the west side of Baltimore, it would be on blocks by now. |

I do believe they've already been here and determined that there is no intelligent life here. They didn't even have to land - just get within range of our cable tv satellites. |
