I think these portraits are superb. I really like eyes closed portraiture for some reason. These also remind me of Fritz Liedtke's magnificant Astra Velum series.
The other thing about them, being as they replicate the damaging effect of UV light, is that they in that interesting place where science/medicine and art collide.
Thought i'd share.

| LOL, and we throw away the images where our subject "blinks"! I've seen this sort of photography before. Perhaps because I'm sensitive to my own sun-damaged skin, these are a bit disturbing to me. |

I did a sunscreen promotion where we had to set up a booth and photograph people like this... scare em into buying sunscreen! :P
They didn't come out quite as cool but I got to do mine a few times. Scary.
