Found all my computer color setting reduced to factory settings...could explain issues with over-saturation etc.... please tell me what you see concerning color and saturation with this picture please so I can adjust accordingly  |

That's of no use to us at all, unfortunately. Assuming you are talking about monitor/display calibration, go here:
//displaycalibration.com/
That's a good place to start. Check the several links under the chart.

Hi. it looks to me to be slightly undersaturated, good natural light, slightly on the blue side if anything. kinda hard to describe in concrete terms.

That is exactly what I had hoped you would say. I intentionally cooled the colors and under-saturated it as a test subject to see if you were seeing what I was seeing. Your input along with the test program the other fellow suggested lets me know my graphics card isn't playing games. Thanks

I did a screen capture to eliminate the blue border and it looks ok, natural as an out of camera pic. A bit dull but OK.
Seen on my work MacBook Pro 15" brightness at 2 levels behind maximum.
I am not sure how relevant is though.
I have issues with my monitor too. Now that I have an iPad it's getting even worse.
I work home on a Dell 24", Mac at work, iPad on the go. What I see at home is different that what I see at work. I can not afford any serious calibration tools but thanks  Bear_Music for the link.
PS
The pic does not look very sharp either

I understand that it is what you see is based on your monitor cal...but is I am having a video/graphics card issue and am over saturating due to what I see it will be reflected out in the virtual world ...yes/ no? I got exactly the response I thought i would get.Originally posted by Bear_Music:

I see the same result, slightly under-saturated, not at all sharp, good natural light, a bit cool, whites are white, blacks are black. While my monitor is not calibrated, I have found this "monitor" (55" 240hz Sony Bravia 3D LED TV) to be extremely accurate with a superb dynamic range. |
