We haven't had a candid child challenge ever, as far as I'm concerned, with school vacation in the USA, and one more week here I think it would be a great idea. |

It's been proposed before, but the rap against it is that people everywhere are paranoid about pictures of their kids getting onto the internet. Not much of a problem for DPCers with access to kids of their own or their sibling families, but a major hassle for the rest of us. |

Indeed. I shy away from shooting photographing children here in NYC just because of the arguments I've personally been in.. |

School vacation is over in the Eastern states, Anita. My grandkids came and stayed for a rare visit but have gone back to Queensland. (I have some semi local ones too, but they are also back at school.)

I tell the parents to call the cops if they have a problem. The only time it almost became physical, the father became rational at the last minute realizing he would have lost both fights.
Last Friday was fun times. Construction worker just started to scream at me after I took this photo on the way to work. Telling me he didn't give me his permission to shoot him. Told him I didn't need it. Cop asked me to delete it. I asked for his badge number. Told me to have a good day. I didn't relent until he gave it to me. On the way home, they were still both there, so I snapped off many more making sure they both saw me. |

i think candied children would be kind of redundant since we already have a desserts challenge. |

Fantastic idea! Of course this would be a fav for me, and no...I would not have to offer lollipops or be creepy. Love the idea! |
