Choose your project from the 1000 lowest rated list and title your photo accordingly. |

This is a cool idea, but really, it's a bit over the line as we would be violating copyright to do this without permission.

I can't see how that would be the case... we wouldn't be *using* the image, only basing our image on it.

You know, now that I realize this is in challenge suggestions, I think you're right!
My initial, whiskey soaked, examination had led me to believe this to be a suggestion to re-edit the photos. umm. duh? ;) |

Agreed. Many photos on this website have been inspired by images already on the site. Only this time, you have to use one of the bottom 1000 as inspiration. |

A good idea and similar to the Brown ribbon Deja Vu challenge from '09.
Interesting thing, looking at my own entry from that challenge. At the time I thought it was a darn good pic and couldn't understand how it only came in as a low 5. Looking at it 3 years later, I can see where it worked and also where it was lacking.
