"Regular people" don't NEED to be concerned when crossing the border. |

Regular people who might inadvertently say something to alarm the border guards? At the Mexican border, I watched guards disassembling a van, while the family looked on in horror. as their belongings were rummaged through.

I hear ya. I was trying to be funny, implying that our Slippy isn't, in fact, a "regular person". I used to be in and out of Baja California at least 2-3x a month at the Tijuana or Calexico crossings, and it always put my heart in my throat even though I was NEVER doing anything "wrong". And THAT was back in the late 70's/early 90's, when things were a LOT more relaxed than they are now.

		| I'm trying to understand the logic of not allowing a photograph of something you are allowed to see in the first place ... if I were intent on criminal surveillance I think I'd enroll in a drawing class rather than spend money on camera equipment. |

Trying to correlate US security measures with logic is a futile endeavor. |

I'm thinking about doing a time-lapse of my drive from Ontario to New York tomorrow. |
So I am guessing Slippy has been in GTMO since the beginning of July?
