		A camera capable of creating images with "unprecedented detail" has been unveiled by US engineers.
 
 The prototype machine - dubbed AWARE2 - is capable of of taking pictures with resolutions of up 50 gigapixels, equivalent to 50,000 megapixels.

		| This will be a privacy concern if it ever goes into production.  Thinking about the hysteria over photographing people's kids in public, this will go a lot farther.  A person could take a single capture from far enough away to be unnoticed and then mine all sorts of detail later. |

		we can do this now with a Gigapan.... albeit a bit longer to take an exposure, but it is FAR cheaper..
