Sand - that we have! Lots of it. Had to laugh when someone visiting here was worried about getting sand in my car... Ha! You live here, you have sand in your car. It just is... :-)

No surprise when my entry scored poorly though I would have liked to see it closer to 50%. Tiny suggested that because the child is looking away from the camera, it looked like an outtake. Funny thing is I deliberately chose that over another where she was facing forward for a couple of reasons. The sand she was eating was clearly visible in the entry, I liked the diagonal lines of her body in the frame, AND she was looking away from the camera which I mistakenly thought made the image more about the sand and moment than about the cute kid LOL

Dunno might have made a mistake with this one, loved my shadow shot below but thought the entry shot would score higher.

I'd say your 7th place entry did pretty well. Your shadow shot would most likely not have scored as high, though it would have done well. My only nit with that is the straps from your backpack.

I really like the "Days of Glory" image. Would have score higher than your entry IMO.
