State symbols provide many good photo subjects. Show your pride in your state (or country) by creatively photographing one of your symbols.

Nice idea. There's lots of Texas pride on display in the countryside. An amazing number of barns and other things painted up with the flag.

We should team up for this challenge. While I'm out shooting beavers, you could have someone eating a beaver with a little garlic butter on the side. With a shallow DOF on the butter and/or garlic cloves, it could work. Maybe a little unorthodox to eat beaver in this manner, but we crazy Quebecois will try anything once.

why not get the beaver eating the garlic and you can kill two birds with one stone.

I think that if i can't find a trillium, i might photograph a beaver-tail (think flat donut) which is an Ottawa thing mostly, or i might photograph some poutine, with the fork pulling some away and the cheese trails going from the bowl to the fork.

How about sombody with repulsive garlic breath breathing on the beaver, making him look as if he's about to pass out, they'll be no problem finding that person, although I wasn't planning on doing yet another self portrait just yet :)

You remind me of the Garlic Diet -- you don't lose much weight, but from that far away your friends say you look much thinner ...
