Hi Everyone
I have a 300D and do a lot of landscape photography. I was wondering if people could help point me out in the right direction as to lenses to use. For when I take pictures that involve heavily contrasting brightnesses I run into underexposure, the colours can be a bit 'overdone' (see below).
Also why do night photos come out very orange? The picture #2 below has naturally an 'orange type light' casting upon it, but it tends to come out a lot more orange than normal. A lens may help??[img]

My plesure australia.

If you are mentioning this image:

then I´m not using any filters. It´s just the low sun shining though the window and litle added red in my photoediting program.

I´m not experienced with filter usage. Just recently got my 300D and uptil now I´ve been using a compact camera with manual settings (Canon A70). The filters I have is a regular UV, circular polarizer and ND.

Great to hear another person who has purchased a 300D. What are your opinions of it since using it?
I am very pleased, learning so much!!...and I dont think I could ever go back to film cameras!!....
The look of it I love, and more importantly its just so much like a tradional slr, but only digital.
The lens, are good for what they are, and overall I am personally happy with what it does. I am an editor of a newspaper, and blown up some images as big as tabloid size and they are fine.....
