Got up to a very nice 6.4545 at 11 votes, and it has dropped with each vote since:

I figure it will be below 6 by lunch. One very reasonable comment on an annoying issue that could corrected by an astute third grader in about 30 seconds with an illegal action in Minimal editing (or, I suppose it could have been corrected with a reshoot by a photographer that did not list to starboard). |

I had a really good shot I took earlier in the week, but last night came up with a bright idea. Took hours to pull off, and I knew it was the inferior photo, but simply couldn't let it go. My score is exactly where it should be, off yonder taking a dump in the fields.

Been a rough day. Down to 6.22 from a high of 6.7 a mere 8 votes ago.
Still hoping for a 6+ though. Anything above a 6 is gravy considering I've only done that 5 times before. |

Was thinking about changing my entry but (luckily) lost broadband at teatime yesterday and only just got it back. No worries cos I'm above (my) average though not many votes yet.
Edited to add - in a blink of the eye and 2 3 votes it dropped 0.09 0.16.

One of my lowest ave. scores. That was mainly because I was harsh on the DNMCs. I agree there were some wonderful shots in this challenge. I gave:

What is really DNMC though? "Take a picture with the widest lens in your bag" IMHO the challenge description essentially means there is no DNMC. I took my shot at 28mm. I wonder if that's not considered wide enough for some folks? Not singling you out Juli, just curious what others interpretations of the challenge are. |
