Create a photograph in which a bird (or birds) is your subject. Advanced Editing rules.

Birds II was more than four years ago.
Birds I was a 2005 challenge.
Birds in Flight

There are approximately 10,000 bird species in the world. In the United States (excluding Hawaii) there are about 984 bird species. This is the right time of year to observe and photograph many species of birds.

can we lift the rule for male genitalia to assist us in finding a subject?

I think the winning shots will have a bird in flight as their main subject and not a bird in fright, although the perch would be a bonus. You might want to check this new member out she could help you with the set up.

Man, like I need the drive to shoot birds. I'm still trying to remember the last day off, I actually slept past 6:00am.
I just can't let the morning light slip by. I need my fix!
So yes, I would love this challenge. Even the Grackle screaming out my window agrees.
Weird timing...

What about the regions that are mid winter, such as South Africa and the rest of Southern Hemisphere! Hopefully the birds are going to be free and not in zoos!

Just give the ribbon to Wendy now.

Yeah, this is a mortal lock(see above post). This is as easy to predict as an sxpert editing challenge. Lol.

Nothing wrong with greatness, and nothing wrong with rewarding it. I have recently dubbed Wendy "The Bird Whisperer".

Thanks for thinking of us. But we're sort-of allright. Swallows will be difficult to find, but there are enough species that stay the year-round.

My demandrequest is that this challenge starst in the week after next as I'll be in the Kruger just before that, and "The Kruger National Park holds more than 500 recorded species of birds. The Kruger is the size of Wales (about 20,000 sq kilometres) and this number of species immediately indicates what a richly diverse region the Kruger Park must be." to quote a birding website.
