Knob? no - some insertion is par for the course, though.

You'll have seen it if you normally help your wife with spring cleaning or moving house.

So that's what a cleaning cloth looks like.

No - circular, just over 2cm diameter.

Pill bottle cap?
05/31/2012 01:49:31 AM · #2911
No, not a cap, although it is used at the end of something.

I suspect that this item may not be available/used worldwide, so I'll give you the full image. Not like you did not have it before, as MelonMusketeer pointed out to me. It was right next to the cropped one in my portfolio, for all to see.

It is used as a set of two, with the other one being able to adjust for a tight fit. The black area is non-slip rubber.

is it a wine bottle or beverage cap?

oh wait, you said not a cap so probably not that.

Yes, close enough. Used extensively for kitchen and bathroom curtains, so it's my work to remove them twice yearly for cleaning.

Ha, out of the blue, the correct answer!
Yes, it is a dome switch on a PCB. The dome (silver sort-of-traingular object) is protected by a plastic overlay to guard against particulates and moisture.

Ok! That was a lucky guess!

I'll post something tonight when I get home, or if someone has something in the wings, go for it!
