Originally posted by ccraft: I decided to open my mind this week and just take photos that interested me, hoping something "serendipitous would happen." Well, I ended up with about 10 great shots. Now I don't know which one to use. I asked people here at work and they both rated two highly. Now I'm totally over-analyzing. My shots may not look like "serendipity" to someone else - but I was happy to get shots where things just "came together" when I least expected it. I guess there are worse troubles to have - like not having a shot to submit at all. ;) Yikes.
Good luck everyone! |
Just submit what you think is serendipity to you. Don't get caught up in trying to figure out what serendipity to someone else. Photography is for yourself and for you to share with others. Submitting a shot that you like is sharing your gift with the rest of us. Scores are just that, scores, nothing else. If it scores well, then good job, if it doesn't, then it doesn't, it's still something you like that you can share with others. Who knows, you may be pleasantly surprised, you never know. Good luck though!
