Minsophoto's critique and advice is spot on IMHO.

How should a shot of deer look, well one example is this. This has a beautiful composition, great mood and great lighting. Look at how you can improve and look to other shots to see what you like and learn how to do that and you will grow. Keep shooting and learning, Looking at another shot of Deer that you took you have much better light and the fence isn't nearly as distracting.
