White Throated Sparrow
Tufted Titmouse
Green Heron Immature
From all the online search it seems like I got the right names! Wish I was better at spotting and photographing birds, its so much fun every time I venture out to shoot them!
ETA: Corrected name - thanks hahn23!
ETA2: New Correction - thanks MaryO!

Now, just to get this shot closer, with soft morning light.
Still for the conditions, I was more than pleased.
Thanks Cormorant!

It's small, dark and big pain to get closer.
Look I have one, I'll call it landscape rather than bird shot:)

I'm not really that much of a birder, but when I was out for a walk this afternoon, I heard a grand commotion in a eucalyptus tree. This guy (I think it's a red-shouldered hawk) was getting hassled by two crows, one of which is out of the frame. The crows were really pissed, and after about ten passes at the hawk, managed to get him to vacate the branch. |

Not the best shot, but a testament to the mark III focus system.

I'd like to share this one.
I don't often take pictures of birds but i was passing through a lot, saw some potential shots, coordinated with a guy throwing bread and loved the resulting shot.
I think it tells a story of faith..
Edit: I like this one too

Cormorant
Just sharing this one here. Couldn't post this one in the May-ish at __mm posting thread. It's somewhat cropped, but I like the fish. |
