I have no idea who I sing and dance like, though I'm pretty sure it is awkward looking.

In order to truly win this challenge, the entry must receive a PH ribbon. I think that's my conclusion. |

"nostalgia is drunk
and frustration can be gorgeous" |

That reminds me of this one:
A baby snake asked his mom, âMommy, are we poisonous?â his mom said âWhy do you ask?â
The baby snake says, âI just bit my tongue!â
If that don't make ya dance like a jmritz, I dunno what will. |

Just entered this one. I'm so excited to see what everyone submits, it was a lot fun for me. :) Thank-you jmritz, for changing things up. |

You are welcome. And that's the main reason I enter, to have fun. I never worry about score.
I must admit last night I did. That was the highest score for me since 2005. It almost beat the first entry I submitted.
A jmritz challenge and a score of over 6.3? Strange days indeed. |

Now can you beat that 6.3 IN the jmritz challenge? |

No. I believe that was an aberration. I would be more than happy with a Brown. Or next to the brown is even better. |

There's a lesson in that philosophy.

so to win the challenge is to lose, to lose to win, or to get teh next-to brown the best achievement, or are the rules of the space-time continuum suspended and all is "righted" with the world for this challenge? Hope so.
I always have trouble finding a worthy shot for these tribute challenges. So much more difficult than a
"still life without objects in a landscape" type challenge. |

Despite the tear in the space-time continuum, popular appeal will win as always. If you go by the usual definition of "win". That may not apply for this challenge though. I'm confused as well, but my entry is in.

My goodness, we're analyzing this to death. Shoot from the gut. Allow room for ambiguity. If you're thinking about challenge descriptions and virtual ribbons, then you're missing the point. If you come up with something that looks different than anything you've done before, and leaves you feeling a bit unsettled, then you're probably there.

Strongly supporting this idea - only that it would take John's moment of fun away. Nevertheless .... |
