Just a quick question, do any of you make any kind of money from prints on these sites?
I must confess I know very little about either site just wondering if it's worth even looking in to, I know it can be just used as a way to get some exposure to your images but I was just wondering on the financial side of things how viable they are if you were to specifically shoot to try and get some sales from either site.

i briefly looked into it on 500px, but i decided against since with every print the purchaser gets a high res digital copy.
unless you dont care to give away your images, it doesn't seem worth it, on 500px anyway. |

I guess that's no different than stock though surely?
Again I haven't looked in to it at all (other than signing up for the 14 day trial on 500px I haven't logged in since I signed up and that's due to expire in about 4 days anyway lol

I don't sell through either.
One extra web option which has been at least "mildly" successful in sales for me is Fineartamerica (FAA) and DPCPrints. Also, while I've done better on DPCPrints, FAA has great framing and matting options for customers, and takes much less of the profit that DPCPrints.
