Technique Challenge: use the wide end of the lens built-in to your camera or the widest lens in your bag while taking your picture this week. Hint: you should avoid cropping, as this artificially "zooms in" on your picture.

Yes. I love the dramatic perspectives it creates. Especially for people. Getting the lens 9" from someone's face almost always gets a smile.

I love my Sigma 10-20mm, so this sounds good to me.

If you "modify" the Peleng 8mm, you can touch the subject's nose with the front element and still get their whole face in the frame.

I tried extension tubes on my 12-24, but the shortest one places "infinity" focus inside the front element.
