| I know a CF type II card wont fit in a type I slot. But will a CF type one fit in a cf type two slot? The reason im asking, is because people have been extracting those 4 gb microdrives from 'muvo mp3 players' on ebay, and theyre selling just the 'shell' or player without any storage. If I can pick up a 256, or 512 CF1 card, (a normal one, nothing fast) and stick it in a muvo. Id appreciate any answers. Thanks. |

Made me think for a minnit... the answer should be "yes". Many cameras have compatibility with Type I and Type II, but have just a single slot, therefore...
...by defintion Type I must work in a Type II slot.
Actually, the Type I and Type II have the same connector, the type II is just thicker.

Yeah, I think the only important difference between type I and type II CF cards is the width. Type II's are thicker.
