| I submitted an image that is not what DPC crowd can love very much, but I knew it and I like my image, so my sub 6 score doesn' matter this time. |

| i took the shot early in the day may5th, but then there was the surprise day late birthday thing.... so i managed to recover enough to put something in last minute. Not sure i love it, but it aint awful. |

Yes, my overall average is low. but only because my first 18 months or so here I tended to vote low. Since then my average would be between 5.4 - 5.7. But I can say that I've always voted consistently on all the images though. |

I *TRULY* expected a full 1 to 1.17 points higher on this. I figured this *could* end upwards of 5.5 but expected 5-5.25...... boy was I ever wrong.
Oh well, my idea for ghosts (if i can make it work tonight) will make this all worthwhile since my time has been spent on location/planning *THAT* shot. I did this in case i made it through the BYOA challenge...
Maybe i'll take the brown on this after all |

| I entered my first challenge less than a week ago - I have to be honest, I doubt there will be many more - people are very cruel. I think many of y'all forget that you started where us newbies are at - try to be a little helpful and a little less, well, unconstructive and mean. |

Nikki, sorry you're having a negative experience here. There are many very nice helpful people here, but you will have to learn to ignore the mean ones. The voting on challenges seems harsher than normal lately to me and, like many others posting here, I am scoring a bit below where I thought my entry would score too.
If you want help with you entries you can post a thread asking for some input before submitting and people will gladly volunteer to help you.
