If you've seen my portfolio (and I bet you haven't...LOL) then you won't be surprised that I am suggesting this...
How about a challenge where you must get at least two or more birds of the same kind/species together in the shot. It's easy to get them in the same shot...but not so easy to make it into a nice shot. Basic editing, I would say. Anyway....For example...

| Love the idea! Strong support for flocks. Great time of year. It would be very challenging to meet this challenge with a visually appealing image. |
