Deck Of Cards · Advanced Editing
Take a creative photograph containing one or more cards from a deck of playing cards.

Heaven forbid you do something interesting like try to create your own card, which I suggested but was diligently ignored. No, you have to take a picture of a storebought playing card in order to help the lamination industry.

Here's my challenge to you: put a nonboring photo in this crap challenge.

Ah, crap challenge, I''ll do my best to produce something, though it may be a strain.

I don't think all my playing card shots are boring... or don't have to be anyway...

I'm actually looking forward to seeing what others will do with this. I bet we get some great entries in this non-crap challenge.

It doesn't have to be a purchased deck. It just has to be from a deck of cards. So if you create one, you have to create a whole deck. :)

There's been some pretty good card images in the past here on DPC
Looks like i cannot post the DPC search result link in such a way that it works here. Just type "cards" in the search box under the PHOTOS window.

I've just un-submitted my Cards photo as i realised it was two days out. Using my mentalist powers passed on to me by The Great Zarustro in '32 in Cairo i can accurately predict it would have scored a 4.7. Plus someone would have disliked the border immensely.

Too bad, that's a pretty cool picture.

Except I dislike the border immensely.

Dnmc, 1/10. If I could reduce points for the border I would ;-p

There, now you got trolled too. New pic = fresh start.

Honestly I liked, but yeah, 4.x to 5.x

Straining while producing something for a crap challenge is a bad idea, it can cause uncomfortable issues for you...

So not only is this challenge good for the lamination industry, but Preparation H are also reaping the rewards. Great.

Changed from my intial image with the hopes that something i 'always wanted to try' would do better than something i enjoy in PP.
I don't mind showing my unused image here, but i think i should wait until after the challenge to post it publicly. If anybody would like to see my outtakes pm me and i'll send it privately.
I'm hoping that if i don't place at least in the top 50% that I get recognized for what I attempted as being creative for what i tried in my challenge comments :)
