i've got a 3.98 that i can add to your score. maybe together we can make a 10! ;P
i think i'll end up taking the brown on this one. and given some of the images entered that's a fitting pun ;) |

I'm surprised by the lack of entries, when I read the title and saw the expert editing I thought everyone was going to have a ball with this one.
Seemed fun to me and I was expecting to see a lot more craziness.
I'm thinking it was too much crazy for everyone to handle and it is going to spill into the next challenge which will be "take a boring photo" and it will have 400+ entries.

Yeah... jerks are out right now it seems. Troll (yes, troll!) hit me with a 1 in another challenge.
This has dropped .30 for me in 10 votes. You that have gotten 7+ scores in the future, mega hat tip and I'll even curtsey.

same. i dropped to the low 3's (3.3ish from 4.2) and then came back up to 4.0345.
The thing is that so many people wouldnt even participate because a moral stand of photographing someone else's misfortune (which i agree with 100% and would refuse to do with the exception of documenting a case for them) -- but that wasn't the case with the entries.
I'd encourage the general community to even check out the thumbnails, but i have a feeling that if they did my score would plummet even further and not rebound.

 Art Roflmao I can't tell you how much FUN I had with this challenge... as klutzy as I am and as much as I end up in the hospital for stupid stuff... I just had to carry the camera with me!!!!!! Regardless of what ever my score ends up I HAD A BLAST... Thanks for suggesting it!!!! |

I didn't think the entries were nearly as bad as people were saying. I think it's great that people tried and has some fun with a challenge that scared off so many.
I'm voted on the majority -- still have a few about which I'm a little torn.
But I added +1 to what I would have normally scored for having the [blood and] guts to enter the challenge! |

I took a huge hit today as well. Dropped .4
I'm still happy with the score so I'm not posting it, or is it just talking in this thread in general in which the curse lays?
The score drop happened after my last post so I think I gotta not discuss it man.
we'll see what happens.

After a long absence I'm back - I missed the place even though I kept up with the doings here.
The Emergency challenge was interesting although I had some real problems commenting and grading two of the images. There is a point where it stops being a "photograph" and becomes something else. Still, there was some great editing in this challenge and that is the point.

Hey Kiddo - whazzup?
Been busy as heck - we moved south to the Carolinas - South Carolina, married off two kids, built a new house, bought a new boat - wife retired and we traveled a little (nothing exotic) - just a busy time. Now we're settled down, I'm caught up with everything I had to do in the new house and I decided to get busy with the camera again.
Glad somebody remembered. :>) |
